Rise of the Planet of the Apes is possibly the greatest movie of the summer. The movie had a good story line. This movie had many references to the old Planet of the apes movies. For instance, they show a newspaper that said "Astronauts lost in space." It is interesting because in the old movie astronauts get lost in space and come back and apes have taken over the world.
The CGI graphics made this movie better than the others. In the old movies the apes were people in masks which made it so extremely tacky. If this movie didn't have good graphics it would have been a bit of a fail.
This movie had everything that you need for a great movie, great acting, great graphics, and great story line. This movie overall is great, sure to win many Oscars. It ties for first for best movie of the summer with Harry Potter 7 part 2 and X men First Class. It was better than the movies in the past.
